Epic Games’ Paragon lives on as free assets for Unreal Engine 4

Paragon shutting down

Action MOBA Paragon may be dead, but it will live on through the work of our future Unreal Engine 4 fellow enthusiasts. Epic Games has just announced that they have released about $12 million worth of Paragon assets to the world on the Unreal Engine Marketplace.

According to Epic Games, there are no strings attached to this content, which you can use in any project on Unreal Engine 4, both commercial and non-commercial. Someone grab these characters and make an MMORPG ASAP!

Characters included in this pack are: Countess, Crunch, Dekker, Feng Mao, Gadget, GRIM.exe, Grux, Howitzer, Khaimera, Kwang, Minions and Jungle Creeps, Murdock, Muriel, Phase, Rampage, Riktor, Serath, Sevarog, Shinbi and Twinblast. Shinbi’s animation Blueprints have been reconstructed to serve as an example for the other characters. Assets from the Monolith and Agora maps are also included, as well as a small sample map built with pieces from those.

But there's more! Epic Games will release additional Paragon asset packs through summer 2018!

This is quite impressive and a move that made many players tip their hats to Epic Games. We can only wish them the greatest successes with Fornite and other future projects, as this decision is one that very few studios are capable of doing *cof Landmark *cof City of Heroes.
