Fortnite alpha begins today, lasts a fortnight

Today is the day when the Fortnite alpha is going to begin. Epic Games just made the announcement and they even went to the extent of making the Fortnite alpha last for a fortnight, running from December 2 to December 19.

This alpha will be used to test “all of the basic stuff, from the launcher to all the game systems”. Epic Games acknowledges that the game is a bit rough around the edges and could use your feedback to improve on it – that is, if you were one of the lucky few to get an invite, so check your e-mail and your spam folder. More invites should be sent later this week.
