Epic Games hates Fortnite Battle Royale cheaters, and so do we

Fortnite Battle Royale

Remember, kids: winners don't do cheats. So if you're one of those Fortnite Battle Royale cheaters, you may win sometimes, but deep inside you will always be a loser.

Epic Games has just addressed this endless topic, one that just won't die and remains a big problem in competitive online games. The team revealed that this matter is their highest priority and they are constantly working against cheaters and cheat providers. Without giving many details, Epic says that tools are being released and thousands of players have already been banned, with more to come. The plan is to keep these players away from Fortnite Battle Royale and the “Epic ecosystem” for good.

And then most of them will complain about just how they were wrongly banned, they did nothing wrong, waa waa waa.

In a related note, account progression is finally coming to Battle Royale. This means that you'll have more incentives to play fair and square, earning in-game stuff and enforcing the idea that cheaters will be banned and lose all their progress for good.

We'll surely be back with more Fortnite Battle Royale news in a few days, when it reaches 10 million players or so.
