Fortnite Battle Royale map update patch releases tomorrow

Fortnite Battle Royale map

The Fortnite Battle Royale map update that we discussed a couple of days ago is now set to release tomorrow, January 18, 2018.

The map is going to feature a new city, an underground mine, a junk yard, a motel and a few more new locations spread across the western side. The more places for players to shoot each other, the merrier. Say hello to biomes (areas that are more specific, such as mountains that are more mountain-y), which make the environment feel more rich and diverse.

The pre-game lobby now fully supports voice chat, so you can start bragging about your shooting skills right before the match. One other thing of note is that friendly fire has been disabled for the time being – Epic Games is currently evaluating the best option and wants your feedback.

Here are the full patch notes.
