Fortnite has over 7 million players, Battle Royale surely to blame

Fortnite Battle Royale

First it was a million of paying Fortnite players, then a million of Battle Royale players during its first day, and now it's seven millions of registered players who have tried the Battle Royale mode. Not bad, not bad! Making this mode free was surely the best decision Epic Games could have made.

Even with all the controversy stemming from Playerunknown's Battlegrounds' publisher Bluehole (which sound more like tantrums, really), Fortnite seems to be doing pretty well. In fact, this surely has helped Epic Games' survival mode quite a lot, they probably weren't expecting such a hot marketing campaign like this one.

Duos and supply drops are also making their appearance in Fortnite Battle Royale, slowly perfecting the mode and adding depth. One of the most requested features is an avatar customization system, something that we're pretty sure Epic Games will work on.

Fortnite still has a long way to go before getting numbers even remotely close to those of PUBG, but it is definitely in the right path.
