Fortnite launch cinematic highlights mankind’s greatest invention: pizza

Fortnite launch

After a few years of complete silence, the Fortnite launch is about to happen later this month. Epic Games' shoot and craft cooperative game is entering paid early access on July 25 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, and Mac and you can get in as early as July 21 if you order a Founder’s Pack, which will also earn you the Storm Master Weapon Pack. To make players even more excited for the early access launch, Epic Games released a new Fortnite cinematic full of thrills, humor, co-op survival and a pissed Smasher. It all ends well, with our team of four leaving the destroyed DurrBurger installations and moving on to a pizza place to save two more survivors. Epic Games sure seems to have a thing for fast food, but who can blame them?

Fortnite is built on the Unreal Engine 4 and features a procedurally generated game world, plenty of scavenging, crafting, and when night time comes, all hell breaks loose and your team has to defend your outpost from the monster invasion.

The definitive Fortnite launch is going to happen in 2018 when it releases as a free-to-play game, but it you want to get on the hype train early, you should spend some cash on the Early Access release.
