With the Survive The Storm update coming to Fortnite on Tuesday, August 29, Epic Games has revealed a bit more info on it, including a trailer for the new mode.
The Survive The Storm Mode is a limited-time mode, which means that you should enjoy it before it disappears. We're betting that it will return some time later – for the 2018 free-to-play launch? -, but for now, you should make the most of it. You can gather resources and build defenses during the day, but you have to fight increasingly more difficult threats every night. You can earn rewards such as weapons from the new hydraulic weapon set when you survive the mutant storms.
New heroes and defenders are also coming, as well as performance enhancements and new art for the Canny Storm Shield Homebase.
