Genshin Impact 1.5 Update Beneath the Light of Jadeite coming April 28, first Inazuma images

MiHoYo has revealed everything about the Genshin Impact 1.5 update Beneath the Light of Jadeite. We can start with the confirmed release date, April 28, keeping up with the promise or releasing a new major expansion every six weeks – version 1.4 launched on May 17, 2021. The new update will bring the usual wealth of new characters, limited-time events, new features, bosses, optimization, and more. Oh, and the Genshin Impact housing system is here, as well as the first images ever of Inazuma!

Players can delve further into the history of Liyue with Zhongli, thanks to the introduction of the second part of his story quest. There are two new hangout events, one for Diona, and the other being the continuation of Noelle's adventures.

Two new characters will be introduced. Eula is a five-star character, known as the Spindrift Knight and Captain of the Knights of Favonius Reconnaissance Company. She wields a claymore and the power of Cryo, seemingly making her a great match for Chongyun. She is great at dealing AoE damage and buffs her resistance to interruption with her Elemental Skill and Elemental Burst.

The other character is four-star Pyro catalyst wielder Yanfei. Much like Ganyu, she isn't completely human – she is young half-human, half-illuminated-beast.

There are two new bosses to fight, one of them being the all-new Trounce Domain opponent, Azhdaha, the “Lord of Vishaps,” which will distribute rare rewards once a week. Beware, he has the ability to change elements and alter the battlefield terrain. Finally, the Cryo Hypostasis makes an appearance and should be defeated if you want its precious character level-up resources.

We're finally getting housing with the 1.5 update. You can enter your personal realm by accessing a new item, the Serenitea Pot. Inside you'll have the space to create and decorate vast home, with different styles to choose from, indoor and outdoor items, pets, and much more.

Finally, we're getting the first glimpse of Inazuma, the third major city coming to Genshin Impact. Surely the most anticipated piece of content so far, you can see a few Inazuma concept art images below and imagine just how the land of the Electro element will look in-game.
