Genshin Impact closed beta date announced with new gameplay video

Genshin Impact closed beta date

MiHoYo has announced the Genshin Impact closed beta date, putting an end to a couple of months of stressful suspense. The next closed beta will run on PC, Android, and iOS, kicking off on March 19. The servers are closing on April 7, which gives players nearly three weeks of anime open world goodness.

In a new video, everyone's favorite vlogger Amber takes us in a trip through Mondstadt and the new Liyue Harbor, the second zone that is making its worldwide debut. The video shows the drop-dead gorgeous and colorful world as well as some characters that you get to control, including Amber. There's new martial artist Xiao as well, a fighter that uses a spear and some mean acrobatic moves. You also see the Traveler fighting, your avatar in the world of Teyvat, which can be male or female.

In Genshin Impact, you control a team of up to four characters and can alternate freely between each one, just as you did in Honkai Impact 3rd. Each character has different elemental play styles and weapons.

Come March 19, the Genshin Impact closed beta date, many players will travel to the world of Teyvat and explore its lush regions until the beta closes. There will be a wipe, so don't get too attached to your characters, but do enjoy the lovely sights. Check your spam folder just in case, to see if you got a closed beta key.
