After many weeks of excited anticipation, the Genshin Impact A New Star Approaches version 1.1 update is now live. Today, November 11, is the day when you get to continue the story with the new quest chain, Archon Quest Chapter 1: Act III – A New Star Approaches. The other highlight – among others, we might add – is the introduction of four new characters, with Childe and Zhongli being the standouts.

Other worthy additions include the city reputation system, new items such as a portable waypoint, new world quests, a character archive system, and a lot more. One of the favorites is surely going to be the option to customize the keyboard and controller keys and buttons, a quality of life improvement that is going to ease the pain for many players. Personally speaking, the default keyboard and mouse controls are fine as they stand, but who knows if a little bit of customization won't make it even better.
