Gigantic’s Into Solitude update adds new hero Rutger, has 2 million players

Gigantic's Into Solitude update is live and it adds a new hero to this strategic hero shooter. Rutger is the name of the new earth-shattering Hero, who controls the battleground with his ground attacks. Publisher Perfect World and developer Motiga are also proud to announce that the game has reached the mark of over two million registered players on Steam, Arc, Xbox One and Windows 10.

Rutger is a tank/control hybrid that deals powerful blows and is able to summon big rock walls. He is a defender of the land, “an ancient and heavily armored warden of the rocky planes and mountains.” Rutger comes with some customization options in the shop, such as color variants, monk-themed skins and an Eternal Light weapon skin.

“We were so thrilled to learn that two million players have joined us aboard the airship for Gigantic,” said Yoon Im, Sr. VP of Game Publishing & Platform at Perfect World Entertainment. “Motiga has devoted countless hours to developing this game and we’re so proud of everything the team has accomplished so far. This is only the beginning for Gigantic.”
