Icons: Combat Arena enters Early Access on July 12

Wavedash Games has just announced the starting date for the Icons: Combat Arena Early Access on Steam. You can save the date of July 12, 2018 as the day when you can jump into the arena for free, as this brawler is going to be free-to-play right away.

But there are more good news, so read on. For example, if you sign up before the Early Access launch day, you'll earn a bonus character, Kidd, along with a limited edition skin. You just have to sign up for Icons: Combat Arena at the official website. Those who sign up get the opportunity to play Icons during the closed beta in June, which means that they don't have to wait for the Early Access.

One final mention for the new fighter, Weishan, The Imperious Prince. He is a mighty warrior and uses his massive guandao to destroy his rivals.

While we – and most of the internet – weren't too hot on Icons: Combat Arena when it was revealed in its initial stages, it is now shaping up to be a pretty decent 2D brawler and hopefully a valid alternative to Brawlhalla.
