KartRider: Drift service regions revealed in anticipation of closed beta

KartRider: Drift service regions

Nexon has revealed the KartRider: Drift service regions, a few weeks before the closed beta begins. This is useful to let you know if you are affected by this region block and if you should be skipping the beta sign-up altogether.

The blocked regions aren't a whim of Nexon; according to the company, this is due to legal and contractual obligations, and nothing prevents the list from changing in the future. However, for now it's best if you forget about KartRider: Drift as you won't be able to properly enjoy the game.

Here is the list of KartRider: Drift blocked regions:

  • Brunei
  • Cambodia
  • China
  • Cuba
  • Hong Kong
  • Indonesia
  • Iran
  • Japan
  • Laos
  • Macau
  • Malaysia
  • Mongolia
  • Myanmar (Burma)
  • North Korea
  • Philippines
  • Republic of Korea
  • Russian Federation
  • Singapore
  • South Georgia and the South Sandwich Islands
  • Sudan
  • Syria
  • Taiwan
  • Thailand
  • Timor-Leste
  • Ukraine
  • Vietnam

KartRider: Drift was revealed a few days ago and it is a racing game similar to Mario Kart. However, this isn't the first game of the franchise, as it is extremely popular in some Asian regions. Powered by the Unreal Engine 4 on PC and Xbox One, this is a free-to-play cross-platform racer that looks like a lot of fun. The closed beta runs from December 5 through December 8.
