Snail Games has just announced the Chinese closed beta date for the third-person MOBA King of Wushu. Set to begin in October 30, the beta test is planned for PC and Xbox One, but the game is also going to launch on PlayStation 4 and will support cross-platform play. After the Chinese release of King of Wush, the studio plans on a global release in the same way that happened with the MMORPG Age of Wushu.
There seems to be a big effort from the part of Snail Games to adapt King of Wushu to the different platforms, as the PC and Xbox One have fairly distinct user interfaces especially designed to take advantage of the corresponding platform.
King of Wushu is a third-person 5v5 MOBA similar to SMITE but with a focus on wuxia and impressive martial arts heroes and movement. Powered by CryEngine 3, this is a visually impressive game to say the least.
