Nexon has revealed a new MapleStory infographic with plenty of interesting info. Like what, you ask? Well, it seems like you completely into magicians and pandas. Go figure.
Anyway, Magician is the most popular job and your favorite pet is the panda, with the puffram coming way behind. There are 273,603,820 characters created to date, which would make MapleStory one of the most populated countries in the world, if it was a country – only beaten by China, India and the United States. And no, Russia isn't up there, I checked.
Of course, one character isn't equivalent to one player, but still MapleStory has 13 million registered players in its global service alone (this excludes Korea, Japan, China, Taiwan, Thailand, and SEA, each with their own services).
MapleStory was released in 2005 and is still doing fairly well. Nexon promises more MapleStory news this November, but I guess it's too much to ask for it to be some sort of global MapleStory 2 release reveal.
