MU Legend global closed beta begins fall 2016

MU Legend open beta test

MU Legend is going to enter the first global closed beta in fall 2016, Webzen has announced. The follow-up to the classic MU Online runs on the Unreal Engine 3 and uses an isometric perspective to offer its hack and slash gameplay. The second global closed beta was also announced for early 2017, with plans to work on localizations of the game (French, German, Brazilian-Portuguese, Spanish and Polish). The second MU Legend Korean closed beta began today.

Richard Moon, Head of Global Business at WEBZEN, commented: “We are very excited to share today's news with our players worldwide!” He continued: “Our players have been patiently waiting for a worthy new client-based MU game. We're sure that most of our loyal communities still remember the first bits and pieces of information that were released (when it was still being referred to as MU2!), and we certainly remember the degree of excitement and commitment that we received in response. That's what makes today so special to us. Not only are we able to give back, we're able to express our gratitude and respect towards our players by fulfilling their wishes and announcing multiple languages for the game!”

You can follow the developments on the official Facebook page. Here are some introduction videos for the four playable MU Legend classes: Darklord, Whisperer, Blader, and Warmage.
