MU Legend’s second and final global closed beta beings late February

After the first closed beta and the promise of a second beta for early 2017, MU Legend is about to return and we already have the official date. You can expect the second global beta test for MU Legend to start on February 21, 2017 and last for a week, until February 28. The first beta had more than 200,000 pre-registrations and there will be no data wipe for this beta, which means that you can continue your progress from the first beta.

One of the priorities for this beta will be the localization implementation, with Webzen adding five additional languages to the game. This means that besides English, you can choose to play in French, German, Brazilian-Portuguese, Spanish and Polish.

When this CBT2 concludes, Webzen will focus on fixing the issues encountered, mostly related to the localization, and continue the work to move on to the open beta. This should be the second and final closed beta and then MU Legend will be open to everyone.

We don't know if the fifth class, the Emphasizer will be available for this second round, but considering the lack of references to it, it's probably being saved for the open beta or later.

Richard Moon, Head of Global Business at WEBZEN, commented: “The first closed beta was a massive success, with great community engagement and the collection of precious game-related data.” He continued: “It's now time to go one step further in the publishing of the global version of MU Legend and to please our fans worldwide with a multi-language CBT. This will allow both existing and new players to enjoy the MU Legend experience to its fullest! We highly encourage everybody who did not participate in first global test due to language limitation to sign up now! Last but not least, we are excited to exclusively announce additional media partner key-giveaways in early February in order to make our precious global fans happy!”
