Name calling: Hi-Rez baptizes three of its internal studios

Hi-Rez Studios, makers of SMITE, Paladins and Realm Royale, has decided to name its first-party studios, each one currently responsible for one of the mentioned games.

The three studios are called Titan Forge Games (responsible for SMITE), Evil Mojo Games (taking care of Paladins) and Heroic Leap Games (having fun with Realm Royale). Each studio is also looking for additional staff to work on these games, and they are surely considering future projects – Hi-Rez Studios apparently has at least one new game in development, could it be the eternally delayed Global Agenda 2? No, we're not kidding, that was actually a thing a few years ago.

Chris Larson is now the general manager for first party studios and has the following to say:

“The establishment of Titan Forge, Heroic Leap and Evil Mojo as standalone studios enables each of our development teams to fulfill their maximum potential and stay hyper focused on serving their individual player communities. We view game operation as a marathon, not a sprint. Our games are built to provide near constant updates over many years. By giving each major game its own dedicated studio and identity, we empower them to control their own destiny and focus exclusively on their player communities, while still having access to our leading shared publishing services.”

Hi-Rez Studios also has subsidiaries such as Skillshot Media (esports production business) and Alacrity Arhouse (technical art services).
