Paladins is going eSports with $100,000 Founder’s Tournament

It was bound to happen sooner than later – Paladins: Champions of the Realm is entering the competitive eSports scene with a $100,000 Founder’s Tournament planned for spring 2016. The next patch will bring the eSports framework with the early version of the Constructed Mode – in this mode players will be able to play against their opponents on a random map, drawing cards from a pre-constructed deck.

The Founder’s Tournament will be held in the early spring 2016 at the Hi-Rez eSports Arena in Atlanta, with Hi-Rez selecting four teams (two from NA and two from EU) to attend based on a series of online qualification events. Regular online tournaments with small cash prizes will begin in January.
