Paladins goes on mobile, gets new game mode and mount type

Paladins team deathmatch

Not one to settle with the announcement of Paladins: Battlegrounds, Hi-Rez Studios is bringing the fight to mobile platforms with Paladins Strike.

Paladins Strike is a hero shooter but played from a top-down view and controls that are inspired by MOBA games, being perfected for mobile. There is no worldwide release date for Paladins Strike yet, but you can sign up for testing at HRXStrike.com. We've discovered that Paladins Strike is already available in the Australian Google Play Store and Apple App Store, if you want to take a look at it while you wait for your release – the FAQ explains how to do so.

Back to the PC version of Paladins, the 35th Champion, Moji, is coming soon with the OB65 patch. She is a magical Flank from a new species, the Leipori, and rides a summoned two-headed dragon into battle. She's just too cute. Watch her announcement below.

Paladins is also getting the new Team Deathmatch game mode, where your objective is… well, to kill the other team, what else can I say. The best news is that the mode brings a new map, Trade District.

We'll close this round of Paladins news with the announcement of a new mount type, the Battle Cats. The first in line is the Primal Prowler, a free exclusive to Twitch Prime members and available on January 11 on PC and January 18 on console. These members will also get a Twitch Prime King Bomb King skin, and other bonus content. You lucky buggers.
