Pearl Abyss relaunches Black Desert in Russia

It was quite a turmoil last October, when Pearl Abyss and Gamenet couldn't see face to face and Black Desert Online Russia was at risk of being completely wiped out. The potential loss of every player account caused quite an outrage, as developer and Russian publisher didn't seem to agree when it came to the publishing license.

Now, it looks like both parties have finally reached an agreement, and Black Desert Online is live again in Russia since November 22, 2018. Pearl Abyss is now running the operations in this region and all Black Desert Online's server content from Gamenet was successfully transferred to Pearl Abyss.

Black Desert Online has over 2.5 million players in Russia since it launched in 2015.
