Popular anime CCG Shadowverse is now available on PC, lots of waifus

The popular mobile collectible card game Shadowverse from Cygames (creators of Granblue Fantasy and Rage of Bahamut) has finally launched on PC through Steam and it was well worth the wait, as this game has lost none of its charm in the translation. What you'll notice first is the stunning anime visuals with plenty of waifus, but don't worry – there are also many husbandos if that's more your thing. But besides that, Shadowverse is a game with seven fully-voiced interweaving campaign stories, over 500 cards and the ability to unlock the full potential of your favorite cards by “evolving” them mid-battle.

“We've been excited to watch our mobile players dive into the deep strategic gameplay of Shadowverse, and we couldn't be happier to bring the hit card battler to PC,” says Yuito Kimura, Shadowverse Producer and Executive Director at Cygames. “Not only will we be able to reach new players who will love the unique gameplay mechanics like the ability to evolve your cards in the middle of the battle, we'll also allow our current fans to choose which platform they'd like to play on.”

To celebrate the launch on Steam, Cygames will be giving away 5 Standard Card Pack Tickets to anyone who logs into the PC version of the game through November 30 at 6:59am PT.

Shadowverse is now available on PC via Steam, on the App Store for iPhone and iPad, and on Google Play for Android devices.

With Hearthstone leading the pack and games such as CDProjekt's GWENT: The Witcher Card Game and The Elder Scrolls: Legends trying to capture your attention, Shadowverse is just one more top quality CCG that every fan should try.
