Tencent Games has just released a major update to its Battle Royale Ring of Elysium. The Adventurer Pass Season 1 launched yesterday, November 8, and will run for eight weeks.
This is a seasonal event where you can earn exclusive in-game rewards just by playing and leveling up through different season tiers. The higher the tiers, the better the rewards, including three new Icons, a.k.a. special playable characters: Gavin X, Haas, and Lynn. The free pass will allow every player to participate in the basic event, but purchasing the full Adventurer Pass for 950 E-Points gets you these characters as well as other rewards.
This is probably stage 2 of Tencent's plans for Ring of Elysium. Stage 3 will finally bring the European release, as Ring of Elysium is currently region-locked to North American players.
