Rogue Company open beta starts as Hi-Rez’s shooter goes free-to-play

Rogue Company open beta

Hi-Rez and First Watch Games have released the Rogue Company open beta today, October 1. The competitive third-person shooter was available only for those who purchased a Founder's Pack or had a closed beta key, but now it goes free-to-play for everyone.

Rogue Company was very well received by shooter fans and is now available at no charge on PC, PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. Featuring cross-play and cross-save since day one, the developers are promising cosmetic DLC only, with no pay-to-win in sight. Dahlia is the latest Rogue to join the game. She is a former military officer who never hesitates to make tough decisions and always gets the job done.

Rogue Company welcomed more than two million players since it entered early access in July, becoming the most successful game launch from Hi-Rez Studios. For an outfit that has released Paladins and SMITE, that's quite a feat.
