SMITE: The gods are going to batttle on Xbox One

There's no stopping SMITE! While the free-to-play PC version is still attracting MOBA fans left and right, Hi-Rez Studios just announced the upcoming Xbox One version during Gamescom 2014. The console release date is a vague 2015 and SMITE will be published via the ID@Xbox self-publishing program.

SMITE launched on PC in Europe and North America in March 2014 and currently has over 5 million registered players. The third-person perspective makes it different from the other MOBA games such as the popular League of Legends and Dota 2, while the frequent updates from Hi-Rez keeps the roster fresh and exciting. Fuck consoles.
I don’t want Smite to end like Blacklight or Tribes: Ascend, hoping this Xbone release won’t affect the development of the game on PC in any way.

If they made this for PS Consoles and made it Cross platform play then i’d probably be happy about it.
