SMITE takes the fight to Steam with a hilarious trailer

The free-to-play MOBA SMITE is finally available on Steam for PC players, after convincing over 10 million players since it officially launched in 2014. This will surely boost the playerbase even more, with SMITE supporting seamless server integration with the game’s original PC infrastructure, meaning that existing players are able to simply install SMITE from Steam and play, without any need for account migration.

As part of the SMITE Steam release, SMITE’s Ultimate God Pack, which unlocks all current and future gods in the game (69 so far), is on sale for £13.99/$19.99 from now until Sept. 13.

SMITE recently launched on Xbox One, being the first MOBA on Microsoft's console and having over one million players downloading the game during its beta phase. Hi-Rez Studios is also working on Paladins, a team-based competitive shooter.

You should definitely watch the trailer below for a handful of Valve related jokes from the SMITE guys. Half-Life 3 confirmed? Also, someone make a petition for Gaben to be the next god to arrive on SMITE, he deserves it.
