The magic-focused battle royale game Spellbreak releases today, September 3. The new game developed by indie studio Proletariat is available as a free-to-play title on PC via Epic Games Store, PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.
Spellbreak is heralded as one of the first games ever that supports full cross-play and cross-progression from day one across every platform. You can create a Spellbreak account and play in any of the supported platforms against every player in the game. All your game progress, customization options, and stats will be saved, no matter from where you access the game.
This is an online multiplayer game with a spellcasting twist, as dozens of battlemages prove their worth in a big battlefield. By using two magic gauntlets, you can combine spells to devastating results, chaining elemental reactions that surprise and amaze your rivals. The use of magical runes gives your battlemage new abilities, from flight to teleport and invisibility, among others.
