Warface celebrates fourth anniversary and shows more of Chernobyl

Warface Chernobyl map

Crytek and My.com's shooter Warface is celebrating its fourth birthday and has 48 million registered players globally to sing happy birthday to it. But it's you, the players, who are getting the gifts.

But there's more. The big content update called Pripyat is coming before the end of 2017 and takes players all the way to Chernobyl. A first video was revealed a couple of months ago and now we get a second video. This new video shows Blackwood's facilities and base of operation, with the players' objective being to loosen Blackwood's global grip and bring liberty to those they oppress. It's all very high-tech and familiar, so we hope that there's actually more to see from the actual Pripyat. S.T.A.L.K.E.R. fans will surely love to explore this map.

Here is what you can get during the celebration:

• Every player gets four gift cards, one for each day Warface celebrates its anniversary. A player can get a wide range of prizes, including the prominent Black Hawk axe.

• From Oct. 19 – 22, players are able to obtain a golden random box every day for accumulating 100 kills in any game mode. The boxes may yield various useful items and even permanent weapons. Only one box can be obtained per day.

• Everyone will receive special anniversary skins every day that they log in: custom fourth anniversary skins for their Fazil UE3, AP-84 Custom, Anatolia RK-102, S60B3 and Abada 266 mm.

• Don’t forget about the Mega VIP booster to top it all up on Oct. 22.

• From Oct. 19 – 22, every player will receive a 400% bonus to all their gains including Warface dollars, Crown Points, XP, and VP.
