WildStar officially goes free-to-play and Reloaded September 29

Carbine Studios has just announced the official release date for the free-to-play relaunch of WildStar, or in fact WildStar: Reloaded as the MMO was rebranded. The release is scheduled for September 29, 2015, with the second phase of the beta starting today, September 3.

WildStar isn't just relaunching as free-to-play, it also brings plenty of changes to the core game system and improvements, such as “a new character creation and intro experience; improvements to dungeons, itemization, tradeskills, world bosses and group content; a class stat revamp; new quality of life features, bonus events, the Cosmic Rewards program, and so much more.” As usual, you can purchase a subscription to get a few bonuses and rewards, and you can also buy items such as cosmetic improvements, character services, progression boosts on the in-game store.

We've already tried the new WildStar during the beta, so if you're unsure about the game you can always check our WildStar Reloaded First Look gameplay video.
