Ragnarok Online returns in an unexpected adventure called Ragnarok Zero in the West (Ragnarok Online: Prequel originally in China). This free-to-play anime 2D MMORPG is faithful to the original classic Ragnarok that captivated millions of players all over the world and is playable in your web browser. The beautiful and colorful Kingdom of Prontera is drawn in an amazing art style that will capture both new and returning players to the series.

The player is cast as a lone adventurer who will have to fight demons, undead and other horrendous creatures to protect the Kingdom and become a true hero. To begin, you'll have to choose your class among the six available: Swordsman (an expert in battle), Magician (masters the elements and is great at destroying groups of foes), Acolyte (great support in the battlefield and healer), Archer (specialists who deliver death from range), Thief (a deadly assassin who loves to sneak) and the Merchant (who uses some surprising tricks to overcome the foes).
