Command & Conquer: Tiberium Alliances is the first free-to-play game from the popular strategy series. Developed by Phenomic, this game is browser-based and joins other F2P Electronic Arts games such as Battlefield Heroes and Need For Speed World.

The premise of Tiberium Alliances is the same as other C&C games: acting as a commander, the player has to build and develop a base, collect resources and fight global domination. Players can enter PvP and PvE, forge important alliances with other players and have each other’s backs. Battles are more tactical than expected and the precious resources – not just Tiberium, but also crystals and power – are essential for upgrading the buildings and units and training combat units.

Fans of the franchise should not expect Tiberium Alliances to be of a similar quality of previous, commercial entries. But as far as free browser-based online games go, this is a good game and should be commended for trying something different from the usual browser strategy games.
