Nords: Heroes of the North is a free-to-play massively multi-player online strategy game from the genre experts at Plarium, makers of Stormfall and Total Domination. Nords is set in the fantasy world of Shingård where players lead an army of Elves, Dragons, Northmen and Orcs who have come together to defend their land against an evil Ice Queen and her swarm of the undead as they aim to conquer the world. As well as featuring Plarium's renowned strategy MMO mechanics, Nords includes all-new 3D battle animation and a host of RPG elements, as well as professional voiceover talent, including Patrick Warburton (known for his role as Joe Swanson in “Family Guy”), and legendary voice actor Jason Canning as Skald the Bard, with over 30 professional actors bringing their talent to the game. The soundtrack and sound are composed and produced by BAFTA award-winning composer Jesper Kyd.

The traditional build and fight gameplay is the main focus of Nords: Heroes of the North, but the improved visuals, impressive artwork and overall polished production make this one an interesting proposal for fans of the genre.
