The bucolic Lugo Village is a place of peace and many investigations. One of them comes with the Blood Knight main quest, where you are asked to “find the emergency Spare Key to Village Chief's house.”

The clue for this quest offers some intel on the whereabouts of the key, but it's not going to make everything crystal clear. It says the following:

“Lathel remember that Misha often hid the Spare Key in the nearby barn next to the house. Let's find the Hidden Key using Lathel's search ability.”

As instructed, you should use Lathel's “Search” ability skill in the hopes of finding the key. Also, you should probably find this barn next to the house, but they all look somewhat alike, so it's not as intuitive as expected.

So, to save you time and effort, we'll tell you where the key is. Open the map and see the Village Chief's House to the north; nearby there's a small area, right around the house, with a small fence – go there, and a cutscene should trigger as you find the spare key.
