Netmarble has the habit of releasing its high-profile games in North America and Europe, so it's not surprising to find out that the studio is targeting the western market for release. This is due to the creation of a subsidiary in the USA, Netmarble US, in 2012.

Ni No Kuni: Cross Worlds is planned to operate in the following regions: Korea, Japan, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Macau. Japan is going to be the first territory, with the launch scheduled for late 2020.

As for the English launch, everything is pointing to a Ni No Kuni: Cross Worlds release date during 2021, for Android and iOS devices. We'll have to wait for a more specific time-frame, but Netmarble is hoping for this to be one of the big mobile hits of next year.

Here are the Ni No Kuni: Cross Worlds release dates known so far:

  • Japan release: late 2020
  • Global release: 2021

Ni No Kuni Cross Worlds is going to launch with five classes: Destroyer, Witch, Rogue, Swordsman, and Engineer. The story puts you in the role of a tester for a virtual reality game called Soul Divers, taking you into a thrilling fantasy world, where you are greeted by a mysterious girl called Rania. This is an unusual science-fiction spin for the series, which is grounded in traditional fantasy tropes.
