3on3 FreeStyle just shut down yesterday, November 20, 2018 on PC. The game has now disappeared from the Steam store and there is no way that PC players will be able to play this street basketball game anymore. The low player base was obviously the reason for this decision, even if the developers didn't get into the details.
On a somewhat surprising note, the PS4 and Xbox versions of 3on3 FreeStyle are unaffected by this decision and will keep running for as long as the team deems fit. So, if you need your daily fix of stylish basketball goodness, consoles are the way to go.
