Genshin Impact The Exquisite Night Chimes update is out this month

HoYoverse is about to drop another significant content update to Genshin Impact with The Exquisite Night Chimes. This is version 3.4 and is releasing on January 18, marking the first big update for the acclaimed anime action RPG in 2023.

The annual celebration of the Lantern Rite already ranks as one of the highlights in Genshin Impact, and it is about to return. With a music festival, a Paper Theater performance, and several mini-games, there is plentiful rewards for you to earn, including 10 plus 3 Intertwined Fates,
a four-star Liyue character, and Lisa's new outfit, all for free.

Two new characters, Alhaitham and Yaoyao, join the expansive roster. Alhaitham will finally be playable as a 5-star sword wielder, and Yaoyao is the second Dendro character and a 4-star polearm user.

This update brings a whole lot more that you can check in the video above. Here are the highlights:

· Seasonal events and games including a music festival and a traditional Liyue performance to celebrate Teyvat's New Year.

· New area “Desert of Hadramaveth” amid sandstorms bringing more adventures and new World Quests.

· New five-star Dendro swordsman Alhaitham and four-star Dendro polearm user Yaoyao.

· New Limited-Time Mode for the card game

· Free-to-claim rewards including a total of 13 Intertwined Fates, Lisa's new outfit, and a 4-star Liyue character upon completion of certain events.

· Kamisato Ayaka's new outfit available in store with a limited-time discount.
