Panzer General Online is the latest free-to-play game from Ubisoft to enter closed beta testing. This game is developed by German studio Blue Byte, incidentally the same behind other F2P offerings including Anno Online, Silent Hunter Online and Castle Empire: The Settlers Online. Just like the aforementioned games, Panzer General Online is also based upon a long-running series, in this case the war game franchise Panzer General. In Panzer General Online, players will participate in a single player mode featuring historically inspired battles, or three multiplayer modes: survival, skirmish and ranked battles. The game also includes elements of Trading Card Games and Miniature Wargames, where the player is able to collect and trade miniatures of war figures, as well as creating his own army.
