RoI: Battle of Graxia shuts down for the second time

Definitely, Rise of Immortals just wasn’t meant to be. After launching in 2011 to a lackluster reception and returning this year as Rise of Immortals: Battle of Graxia, this free-to-play MOBA game is going to shut down for the second time – and definite? – on June 27, 2013.

Although the MOBA genre is extremely popular, it’s also the one where it’s the most difficult to make an impression, with League of Legends and Dota 2 making it very hard to breathe. Heroes of Newerth and Smite are the other current favorites, and while we keep seeing new releases from indie studios, their chances of success aren’t exactly high.

Anyway, Battle of Graxia wasn’t a bad game but wasn’t particularly original or enticing, although the White Knight idea was pretty cool. So if you’re a fan, enjoy the last days of this MOBA game.
