The Most Wanted game of the week is Shadow Realms, the sci-fi co-op dungeon crawler with plenty of super-powers. If you know the answer to this episode's quiz, then leave it in the comments below or in YouTube, along with your suggestions.

News:

Black Desert final beta close, NA and EU launch prediction
The third and final Black Desert Korean closed beta is about to begin. We also have updates on the Western launch, so keep watching. The third Korean beta should now be on the recruitment phase, which runs from September 2 to September 11. The beta should begin a week or two after that, although we still don’t have the final date. This beta will bring new stuff to the game, including an improved housing system, a dyeing system for armor and clothes, a pet system, more NPCs, a new boss and more. As for the North American and European Black Desert closed beta, it’s planned for early 2015. We recently learned that Pearl Abyss whishes to launch this version by the end of 2015, but early 2016 is a more realistic estimation in their eyes.

ArcheAge open beta and launch dates revealed
The Archeage launch date is finally out there! It’s just a couple of weeks away so start saving some time for this massive MMORPG. Trion Worlds announced the release date along with the rest of the schedule on the way to launch. We’ll begin with the open beta, which will last 4 measly days, from September 4 to September 8 – this is probably one of the shortest open betas we’ve ever seen. Also, take note that the servers will be wiped after the open beta. Then, on September 12 it’s time for those who bought a Founders pack to get their headstart, which equals to four days. Finally, Archeage launches on September 16.

Anime action MMORPG Closers Online enters beta stage
Closers Online, the most exciting anime action MMORPG that we’ll probably never play, is now in beta. Closers Online aka Closers: Dimension Conflict, is coming out of a long silence and into players’ radar thanks to a new trailer and a new website. The first Korean closed beta only lasted 4 days so we’ll now wait for news on the second beta. Closers could be a nice replacement to the now gone Rusty Hearts, and while Nexon is known for bringing many of its games to the West, we have a feeling that this one won’t stand much of a chance.

Strife, the second generation MOBA just entered open beta
Strife is now in open beta. The second generation MOBA from the makers of Heroes of Newerth currently offers 20 heroes for you to try. With Strife, the goal is to make a MOBA with a less toxic community and a more interesting social experience with fair rewards and an all-round nice feeling to it – we wish them luck for this arduous task. The idea of making it truly free-to-play isn’t new, but having all the heroes available and unlocked for free from the beginning is definitely a step in the right direction. Strife is a fun MOBA that could become really big, so give it a try if you’re looking for something in that genre.

Killing time in Landmark
The world of Landmark is now a dangerous place. Sure, you could build amazing stuff and look in awe, but now you can explode or be killed by other players. Cool. Sony Online just added combat to Landmark, with weapons and armor allowing for Player-versus-Player combat. But there’s more! Landmines and other objects can just blow you to pieces. There are also moving platforms and other stuff added to the mix. Landmark is the prelude to EverQuest Next and is shaping up to be so big that we’re beginning to wonder if Sony Online did the right thing in splitting it into two games. Maybe a single game that included all the features would have been the best decision?

‘Find the Game’ Quiz

If you liked the TV show Spartacus, then you’ll probably like this new game. The game shares the violent gladiator combat and some of the adult content of the aforementioned show. The first one to write the answer in the comments will see his name featured in the next Free to Play Unlimited episode.

Most Wanted: Shadow Realms

Bioware is working on a PC exclusive online action RPG that revolves around co-op 4 versus 1 PvP. Confused? Well, let’s just say it’s a sci-fi dungeon crawler. Shadow Realms is inspired by the old pen-and-paper games and is set in both modern day Earth and the parallel world of Embra. The heroes, of which there are 7 playable classes so far, can be upgraded, as well as the dungeon master, known as Shadowlord. The Shadowlord is responsible for haunting players, setting traps, casting spells, summoning monsters, and controlling any monster in the level. He is in battle with the heroes in third-person view, not just a disembodied presence like in games such as Dungeon Keeper.

Sign-ups for the closed alpha are already open at the official website. While the business model remains undisclosed so far, we would bet it’s going to be free-to-play.
