Mortal Online

PUBLISHER: Star Vault | DEVELOPER: Star Vault | GENRE: MMORPG
THEME: Fantasy | PLATFORM: Download | STATUS: Final

First launched in 2010 as a subscription-based MMORPG, Mortal Online turned free-to-play in November 2012. Star Vault developed this first-person fantasy MMORPG and regularly updated with patches that fixed some of the most glaring problems.

Sometimes dubbed as a second rate Skyrim, Mortal Online has all the features that a great MMORPG should have – an open world with realistic behavior, where the player isn’t strictly limited to a given path or PvP arena. Players may engage in PvP and PvE as they see fit, since both game styles co-exist in the same world. The real-time combat puts your skills to the test, proving that it’s not all left to luck and character stats. You can build your own house and even set up a guild and build a keep.

Choose your race and profession and determine the way you play and rule the land, be it through violence or diplomacy. Craft, combat, trade or use magic in your way to success.

Mortal Online has some restrictions in its free-to-play model, although you can purchase a premium account (monthly subscription) to lift these restrictions. F2P players will be limited to one character slot and the skill cap will be 60, instead of the regular 100. These players will also be unable to use thievery skills, loot expensive objects or trade expensive objects.
