Hounds: Horror third-person shooter enters beta

Just a couple of weeks after the announcement, Hounds: The Last Hope has entered closed beta today. The beta for this free-to-play third-person shooter is apparently free for everyone to join in, so you only have to sign up at the official website, download the installer and you should be good to go!

The beta will feature four classes (Assault, Tech, Specialist and Support), Chapter 1 of the Story Mode (PvE) as well as PvP, with 4 game modes and 8 different maps, as well as maximum of 16 players simultaneously. Game modes included are Death Match, Close Combat, Sabotage and Occupation. You can create a maximum of two characters and Character names and Clan Names will not be deleted after the closed beta, but the stats will.

Despite being around for a while in Korea, Hounds is a pretty decent Gears of War inspired third-person online shooter with a horror theme – there’s plenty of zombies and horrible monsters to shoot.
