Nutaku’s anime pop stars are coming in Idol Wars

Idol Wars

Nutaku, publisher of online games invariably featuring anime girls associated with random stuff such as Shooting Girl, Kanpani Girls and Flower Knight Girl, has announced the August 2016 launch for Idol Wars, a Japanese online RPG that is now getting an English release. Pre-registration is live here.

In Idol Wars, players take on the role of a producer of a Japanese Idol group and have to climb their way from debutants to starts. Recruiting, training and leveling up Idols (the anime girls in this game), you’ll have to face off against rival groups, both AI and multiplayer. There are over 100 Idols to choose from and the gameplay has this flavor of Collectible Card Game. Idol Wars is aimed at fans of Japanese anime pop culture and players who just like to collect girls as if they were Pokémon.

This trailer means nothing to me, even with their body satistics included.

Hell, your description did a better job of selling the game to me then this colourful but meaningless “trailer” did.

If you’ve played a Nutaku game like the ones we’ve mentioned, then you should know pretty much what to expect. Also, their trailers are always of this genre – nice artwork of anime girls moving around and not much else. I guess it works for players with low standards (as in playing a game based on a non-revealing trailer).

Oh I know what to expect from Nutaki (even with the only game of their’s I did play was the only non Hentai game lol) and I know I was stating the obvious but I still had to get it out.

I like the concept you described and will give it a go
