Path of Exile: 7 million players and Taiwan release

path of exile 3

Path of Exile is undoubtedly the best free-to-play Diablo alternative for over a year now and the Grinding Gear Games title is still growing at a steady pace. The studio just announced that the action RPG now has over seven million registered players worldwide and the success is in part due to the launch of the second expansion, Forsaken Masters. Last month saw a new record of 154,000 players online simultaneously. Path of Exile launched a little over a month ago in Taiwan (August 14, 2014) and now has over one million Taiwanese account registrations.

We definitely recommend this game to any fan of online action RPGs, so give it a try by registering here, it’s free and the game is widely considered as one of the few F2P games that avoid the pay-to-win trap.
