Free to play FIFA World enters worldwide open beta

EA Sports is trying another shot at a free-to-play FIFA game with FIFA World for PC. FIFA World just entered global open beta and is available in English, German, French, Russian, Spanish, Mexican Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, Polish and Turkish. FIFA World is entering open beta after four closed betas and a very limited open beta, adding to more than 1.5 million fans registered.

With over 16,000 players and 600 clubs from more than 30 officially licensed leagues, FIFA World doesn't lack content. It also includes FIFA Ultimate Team, as well as single player modes.

The limited open beta brought the following additions:

Accomplishments – Designed specifically for FIFA World to reward fans for completing dynamic tasks, based on scenarios reflecting events from real world football.

Tournaments – Fans can challenge AI controlled clubs and National Teams to progress through a bracket on their way to lifting the cup and earning rewards. Match Invites give fans an opportunity to challenge their friends online.

The Social Hub – Fans can share, like and comment on game content with their friends. With new content such as Featured Tournaments and Limited Time Accomplishments, updated throughout each week, and a real time Transfer Market, where fans can manage their in-game items.
