EA announces browser-based Command & Conquer

Electronic Arts just announced a new free-to-play game to join their ranks, alongside names such as Need For Speed World, Battlefield Heroes and Battlefield Play4Free. This time the focus is on the strategy genre and with another classic franchise – Command & Conquer.

The F2P browser-based game is Command & Conquer: Tiberium Alliances and all that is known so far is that it’s an MMO that uses the HTML 5 technology, meaning that any device with access to an Internet browser may access the game. The game is developed by EA Phenomic, the same studio responsible for the free-to-play games Lord of Ultima and Battleforge.
