Iron Maiden’s Bruce Dickinson is partnering with World of Warplanes

Iron Maiden Bruce Dickinson World of Warplanes

There is more to Iron Maiden's Bruce Dickinson than rocking out, it seems. The eternal front man of the acclaimed heavy metal band is partnering with Wargaming for a World of Warplanes promotion stunt.

What is it all about, you ask? Well, Bruce knows his airplanes – he is an airline pilot and regularly flew Boeing 757s as well as Iron Maiden's private plane – is going to host a video series for World of Warplanes. Known as The Bruce Dickinson Warplanes Diaries, this is a series of educational videos exploring some of the most iconic warplanes in the world. Wargaming mentions that Bruce is a big fan of the historical accuracy provided in World of Warplanes.

The first episode of the series covers the Hawker Hurricane, as you can see below. Right after that, there's a music video for World of Warplanes featuring Iron Maiden's Aces High song, which includes a glimpse of the band's zombie mascot, Eddie – blink and you'll miss it.

There is also a renovated hangar featuring iconic Iron Maiden imagery, and apparently more in-game related content coming to World of Warplanes.
