Traega Entertainment is a new studio that was founded in 2015 and just announced its first game, BRIG 12. Comprised of industry veterans from Blizzard, EA, Riot, Funcom, Ubisoft, and Disney, this studio is working on a free-to-play game that mixes turn-based role-playing with card collecting games, all within a sci-fi theme.

In BRIG 12, the players steps into the shoes of the clone of a successful bounty hunter. BRIG 12 is the name of a high-security, highly exclusive location for turning in the most dangerous bounties of the Altera System. You have access to that club and must assemble your crew, explore the universe, battle and earn enough money to create another clone, retire and start anew. The release is planned for PC on Steam this August.

BRIG 12 has thousands of items, and all this loot can be acquired playing the game – defeating enemies, turning in bounties, salvaging unused items, or purchasing powerful items from the BRIG 12 shop with in-game currency. Traega Entertainment promises to use a truly free-to-play business model, with a cash shop that is only focused on making you look good with cosmetics and convenience items.
