Free Game Alert: Get The Sims 4 for free and keep it forever

The Sims 4 free game download

If you like playing dress-up and having fun with dollhouses, then… you have some issues, unless you are a young girl. But even if you're a full-grown man with a bushy beard, maybe you can do that as well… with The Sims 4.

Not one to be left behind, Electronic Arts is trying to keep up with the free games that are pouring from the Epic Games Store, Humble Bundle, GoG.com and so on. EA is offering The Sims 4 for free on Origin until May 28. You get to keep the game forever if you don't miss this opportunity, and if you're anything like me, by now you probably already have tons of launchers installed in your computer anyway, so…

While I haven't tried The Sims 4, I have followed the series until The Sims 3, when I realized that I had to start living a real life instead of a simulated one. Either that or I simply ran out of ideas on how to torture Sims.

My understanding is that The Sims 4 had a rough start but it got much better with subsequent patches and DLC that enriched the game. Obviously, you only get the core The Sims 4 game for free and have to buy every piece of DLC separately if you feel so inclined. Out of my head, there are around 15 DLC releases so far, with content that ranges from vampires to fitness, work, parenthood, seasons, cats and dogs and laundry day.

Laundry day?! Is this a game or a sad reminder of real life chores?

Anyway, it should be a lot of fun, if it's remotely close to the quality of the previous installments. Even if you are not a fan, maybe there's a little sister or someone within the household that wouldn't mind playing this game.
