The Seven Deadly Sins: Grand Cross is how anime RPGs should be made

The Seven Deadly Sins Grand Cross anime RPG

While we are on the subject of anime games – thanks to the highly anticipated anime RPG Genshin Impact -, we couldn't leave another cool game out of the picture.

The Seven Deadly Sins: Grand Cross (Nanatsu no Taizai: Hikari a Yami no Grand Cross) is a recently released anime RPG from Netmarble. While it's a mobile game only and the initial release is exclusive to Japan, it is brimming with qualities. You have a world map where your team travels, accessing regions where you can free roam and complete quests.

Combat brings a card-based element to The Seven Deadly Sins: Grand Cross, but unlike other mobile games where you press “auto” without thinking twice, these battles are actually fun. You use cards with character abilities and you can merge them to unleash stronger attacks.

This anime RPG features impressive graphics in every part – freely moving around, cutscenes (and there are several of those, often funny as well), battles and so on.

As far as mobile anime RPGs go, The Seven Deadly Sins: Grand Cross is one of the best right now. Hopefully a global version will be released, but even if it doesn't, this is an easy game to grasp.
