Heroes and Titans 2: Era of Legends PC MMORPG

Hey everyone, we have a new MMO to share with you all today. The name is Heroes and Titans 2: Era of Legends, and if this sounds familiar to you, that because there is a mobile version that we’ve played before and quite enjoyed. This game is now making the leap to PC and we’ve been sponsored to tell you all about it.

We also managed to grab some codes from the devs to get you a cool starter pack, because we’re awesome like that. The code includes a high-level mount, the High Tech Rocket, among other goodies – stick around with us until the end of the video or written impressions to get the code, that’s the least you can do, right? Check the video description to download the game in case you want to jump right in, and to learn how you can redeem your gift code.

When we first played Heroes and Titans 2: Era of Legends, we couldn’t help but compare it to World of Warcraft. The style is akin to Blizzard’s classic, and the races also draw some inspiration from one of the best MMOs ever created. The deceivingly simple first impressions will quickly give room to a game that ticks all the right boxes and offers a nice range of options and diversity. Besides, this new PC release is perfect for players who are looking for MMORPGs with low system requirements, and we know that there are many of you out there.

Let’s take a look at the eight starting races, which should cover all the epic fantasy staples. You have the Warrior, Shaman, Mage, Priest, Assassin, Witch, Archer, and a Druid. The Assassin and the Druid are the most difficult classes to master, with melee attacks that give the enemies plenty of time to retaliate. The former comes with an interesting ability, as he is capable of shapeshifting into a strong creature. If you are familiar with the classes, you should be able to pick your favorite in a second; otherwise, give them a try to see which one best suits your playstyle. We went with the Archer because kiting is just our thing, and because this elf class just looks cool. Evidently, each class has its own set of skills and skins, as you can see by this committed display by the Minotaur Warrior.

I wish there was some character customization options right off the bat, but sadly this isn’t the case; your character will look like the others until you unlock some skins. Your pieces of gear won’t change your character’s looks, but you can unlock the skins by progressing, completing specific events, or loging in during a few days.

The Heroes and Titans 2: Era of Legends UI was slightly revamped for PC, with the skill icons being moved around for comfort. However, it retains the original mobile look, something that may not be to everyone’s tastes. Personally, we found if comfortable enough and it didn’t get in the way of our experience. It gives the game an interesting feel of “my first MMORPG”, if you catch my drift.

During your adventure to save the continent of Eminoor, you’ll get to make many friends, and even more enemies. However, you won’t be alone in your quest; you can get a few trusty companions to fight by your side. The first one is a bear mount, taking you faster through the vast map, but soon you’ll unlock flying mounts such as griffins and dragons. Next up is a pet to fight at your side, and different familiars that you collect also give you some nice boosts. Familiars are this sort of small creatures that give you considerable boosts in battle and shouldn’t be neglected – don’t forget to feed them to keep them to raise their level and awake them.

Auto-pathing and auto-combat are always sensitive topics in MMOs, and Era of Legends features both these options. Make no mistake, these won’t replace your skill when it comes to the real deal – the auto option will ease you into the game, as you level up your character and unlock new abilities, but it is out of the picture when you enter the dungeons, PvP in 3v3 and 5v5 arenas, or in the battlefield, and fight world bosses. You have to master your hero if you plan on getting that sweet loot – by the way, you can claim a piece for yourself or enter full greedy mode and snag a few more, a selfish attitude that could pay up in the long run, but it isn’t going to win you any friends.

There are several dungeons that you can gradually unlock and conquer as you level up. Each dungeon has three bosses plus the usual mobs, and only true team spirit is going to take you to the end. Remember, these are challenges where auto-combat stays at the door and you must truly cooperate with your teammates in order to overcome some huge and often persistent bosses.

In terms of graphics, Heroes and Titans 2: Era of Legends isn’t jaw-dropping, but it’s colorful and has this deliberate cartoonish style that looks very acceptable. It also ties in with the low specs that I’ve mentioned before.

While the World of Warcraft inspiration is obvious and intended, Heroes and Titans 2: Era of Legends becomes its own game and a nice entry to the genre. It is extremely friendly and easy to get into, but it also comes with this competitive edge that makes it a nice challenge for fans of the genre. You can download the game using the link in the video description and don’t forget to use the gift code – the code is MMO. Enjoy the game and your brand-new rocket mount!
